The O.S.C.R Project
The O.S.C.R. Project (pronounced "oscar") stands for: The Open Source Class-Room. Alphabyte Technologies highly supports and encourages the use of open source technologies in the classroom. Alphabyte will be launching a growing effort to supply the public school systems with access to open source materials available to both teachers and students absolutely free of charge. Through the use of legal and stable open source technologies, public schools can save massive amounts of money and have tools available to students... the same students who can not receive text books, because (at the moment) "it's not in the budget". We can get this on track. Check out this project donated by Lee Kebler (president of Alpahbyte Technologies) that was covered by "think MTV".
